This high quality tea uses a rare method of preparation: soon after picking the delicate buds of the opening tea leaves during ‘Second Flush’ (mid June – mid August), they are handled with extreme care, withered very carefully for a long time and dried properly. As this tea is not fermented, it contains three times as much antioxidant compared to other teas and is considered to be the Queen of quality teas. This gently aromatic tea liquor has yellowish white, light straw or delicate brown hues with soft, subtle, delicate herbal nuances.
